we've been having all sorts of problems with making music over the last couple of months, and figured playing around with other people's tracks might be a good way of easing ourselves back in.
herewith a 'just for fun' reworking of one of our favourite coil tracks, first dark ride. we've never been too keen on the lengthy middle section, and wondered what the track would sound like without it. we've subtly though severely messed with the intro, massively truncated the middle section and tweaked the end. it clocks in at under half the length of the original; perhaps we'd jokingly refer to it as a "single mix".
